Many families don’t realise their children may qualify for free tutoring under the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) education schemes. If you’re the parent or carer of a child connected to a current or former ADF member, there’s a good chance you’re eligible and ThriveTutors can make it incredibly easy to get started.
Who is eligible?
Your child may qualify for DVA-funded tutoring if:
- You or your child’s other parent/guardian is a current or former member of the Australian Defence Force.
- You receive support under DVA due to a service-related injury, illness, or condition.
- You’ve received a VCES (Veterans’ Children Education Scheme) or MRCAETS (Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act Education and Training Scheme) approval for your child.
Children under these schemes are generally:
- Aged under 16, or
- Aged 16 to 25 and enrolled in full-time education or training.
If you’re unsure which scheme applies, DVA can clarify eligibility. Many families qualify but don’t realise they can access additional tuition support alongside other educational benefits.
What kind of tutoring is funded?
DVA may provide extra tuition when your child:
- Has fallen behind at school
- Is preparing for exams or changing schools
- Has learning difficulties or special education needs
- Is adjusting to a family relocation or life change
This additional tutoring support can be fully funded if approved by DVA, which is typically around $3,500 per year and that is more than enough for one or two weekly lessons for your child.
What do you need to apply?
The good news: you don’t need to manage the process alone. ThriveTutors is here to help you every step of the way, the only thing we need you to complete are the below forms:
- Application for Additional Tuition Form – All completed forms should be posted to DVA in your capital city. Alternatively, forms may be lodged online through MyService or you can email educationschemes@dva.gov.au.
Once your child is approved under VCES or MRCAETS, you’ll then receive a DVA letter confirming their eligibility. This approval letter is all ThriveTutors needs to begin arranging support.
You won’t need to submit quotes, negotiate invoices or deal with administration. We take care of everything, so you can focus on what matters most, your child’s learning and confidence.
Take the next step!
If you have your DVA approval letter, or think you might be eligible, fill out the form below or send us an email at hello@thrivetutors.com.au
We’ll walk you through every step, from checking eligibility to matching your child with a tutor who understands their needs.

Signed up for 677betlogin the other day. Registration was a breeze, thankfully! Haven’t won big yet, but I’m having a laugh. If you want to try your luck, here’s the login link: 677betlogin.
Just found out about bong88linkwiki and gotta say, the site is pretty slick! Easy to navigate and seems to have all the info I need. Fingers crossed for some good fortune!
Crikey! Jumped onto tobet88vn for a few rounds. Fair dinkum, not bad. Loads of variety in the game offerings. The mobile experience could be smoother, though. Still, worth checking out: tobet88vn
